Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 2026
anvay is an open-source application for topic modelling and text analysis. It does not collect, store, or share personal data.
1. Uploaded Files
Files you upload are processed entirely within the server environment. They are not transmitted to any external service or third party. Upload directories are deleted immediately after processing completes — whether the job succeeds or fails. Result files (topic outputs, CSVs) are automatically deleted two hours after they are generated. No copy of your data is retained beyond these windows.
2. Analytics
This site uses a third-party analytics tool to track general usage patterns — page visits, session counts, and feature use. No personally identifiable information is collected. The specific tool in use will be named in this section when the deployment is finalised. If you have questions about analytics in the interim, please open an issue on the GitHub repository.
3. Cookies
anvay uses a single session cookie to maintain state during your visit. No tracking or advertising cookies are set by this application. The analytics tool may set its own cookies; this will be detailed here once the tool is confirmed.
4. Open Source
anvay is released under the MIT License. The source code is publicly available at github.com/vinayakdasgupta/anvay.
5. Changes to This Policy
This policy will be updated when the analytics deployment is finalised, and may be updated at other times. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
